I am currently waiting for a hearing date for my disability claim, which my attorney says is still about a year and a half away. I wrote so many letters to SSDI my governor and my state senators. A couple of weeks ago I received a letter from one of my senator's with a form to fill out so he could get info on my case. I just sent him the form and a letter back going more in depth to my issues. Has anyone received a response like this before from a senator and does it help move things along? My husband is wiped out from doing two jobs and I can't work. I consider us blessed not to be in a worse position than we are, but we really need a break, it would be huge if this could get approved sooner than my attorney is counting on. Thanks for any responses.
