A show titled "The Medicated Child".

I was just about to email a couple of our friends on the

board about the program when I saw your Post. I assume that

it is to be aired Nationally and not just here on the West

    Coast?? Thanks again.

I'm under the impression that it's a national broadcast. You may also want to see the video I posted the link to earlier. It's also an eye opener.

I checked my local listings, I can't find it here, that sounds like something I would like to see.

I get 2 PBS stations. Sometimes they do the same show at different times. Check the TV Guide channel at 9 and then 10.

I stayed up beyond my "beddy bye" time to watch the program

last night! Was very much worth it. I'm sure you saw it also.

Very informative and objective. "Frontline" always gives us

something to consider and weight without prejudice. Thanks

again for the reminder to all our friends.

I did notice something that all the kids shown had in common: JUNK FOOD

Unfortunately, the stuff is used as a "pacifier". I see "lil

kids all the time in strollers with small bags of chips etc.

on their laps or carbonated heavily sugared soft-drinks. A

diabetes epidemic is already upon us. Parents don't seem to

realize that they are promoting a possible early death for

their child. Elders can't smoke around them but somehow it's

"OK" to feed them harmful excesses. (??)

I believe the program last nite can or will be available

on the PBS.ORG download soon if not already for those who

    missed it last night.

    Thanks again,

I didn't think to notice if these kids spent any time outdoors getting fresh air, excercise and play.
