This is a quesiton I keep forgetting to post! LOL

I retain fluids, big time. My salt intake is very low and I look at all labels to see what something includes.

Do any of you share this problem? Do you think the DD's could cause some of this problem?

We have humid weather at all times of the year. My fingers swell and everything is uncomfortable. I swear it seems to bring on 2-4 pounds. The weight, appears to drop off when there is high pressure. Any one have a take on this one?

Jut tried putting rings on. Uh Uh.....my fingers look like Vienna Sausges with the rings on! They are staying off!

I hope this makes sense. Tired and a little 'foggy' today!

    Any repsonses are appreciated it!

Thanks for the reply! I live in Indiana, close to Michigan. I do believe our weather has something to do with it.

I had problems with Cymbalta also. I put on some weight, and it didn't seem to help after first six weeks. I also am having problems with neck, shoulder, elbow and spine. I am very leary about the cortisone shots.

    Again, thank you!

  4. i get this water retention too.one day ill weigh myself and ill be half a stone heavier than the day before.
my ankles swell with fluid and so do my knukles (hands)
when i was first told i had fibro/chronic fatigue syndrome.i asked the specialist what this swelling in my knukles (hands) and feet was caused by.he just said, its due to fluid..so i asked him,,well can you give me some pills to get rid of the fluid? to which he replied...no its a different kind of fluid from the one that you might be referring to.
he didnt even tell me what type of fluid it is,and all my blood work says i dont have arthritis, but my fingers are lumpy and bent funny,,isnt that weird.im still told, even now, that my blood work shows up no inflamation,so what it really going on? i just dont know.

    kind regards
