Just wondering if anyone has had episodes where it feels like the ground you're walking on turned into a waterbed or if you find yourself biting your tongue for no particular reason.

I definately feel like that. My legs feel like they're not attached to my body and when I step down I feel a strange sensation. This is a big problem for me right now.

I never had the biting tongue thing, but I have had the feeling when walking that my shoes were full of sand - kind of the opposite of what you're experiencing. What a weird dd this is.

It's only been since my dx, though. Can't explain it.

No walking on mush yet, but I do have peripheral neuropathy due to diabetes so I figure it's only a matter of time.

    God Bless.

Yes at times I feel like I am on a boat. Its a strange feeling. As for the tongue, I don't do this much right now but went through a period where I was hanging my tongue out of my mouth and holding between my teeth. Everyone would ask me if I was ok. What could I say? Just another day in Fibro land.
