In february 2002 I cought something very strange, similar to flu (low grade fever, fatigue, cough, muscles pain). It lasted 3-4 weeks. Since than I had never returned to myself. I suffer from (not all the symptoms all the time):

    - thirst,
    - white "cheese" on my tongue,
    - burning mouth,
    - FATIGUE,
    - shoulders stiffness,
    - neck pain,
    - low body temp.
    - low sex drive,
    - doc say that everything is in my head.

    I am 34 y.o. male.

    Could it be CFS ?

    Thank you for reply,

    my other symptoms:

    - frequent colds,
    - feeling hot without fever (like hot flushes),
    - frequent sore throats,
    - dry skin (especially on the face),
    - weight gain (13 kg during the last year),
    - unrefreshing sleep,
    - depression from beeing sick.
    - had for a long time unexplained gastric problems.

I tried many meds including homepatic - nothing seems to help at all.

Tell your doctor you are not satisfied with his findings and you want results. If he still brushes you off, find another doctor. We can't tell you what is wrong with you but I can tell you I have many of the same symtoms and I have many different things wrong with me. Diabetes, fms, reflux, and so on.
    Good luck.

Sounds like a candidias infection. You should try probiotics, acidophilus. An Rx for Nystatin may help.
To be blunt I would possibly get an HIV test, if you are or have been sexually active in a nonmonogamous realtionship.
    I apologize for the abruptness

Hi welcome to the board. What you need is a good doctor that is familiar with FM/CFS. None of us can diagnose you here we are not doctors, just sufferers.

If you need a doctor, go to the link at the top of this page that says; 'Doctor Referrel', hopefully their is on in your area.

    Again, welcome to the board.

    Shalom, Shirl
