prognosis is for Fibro? Someone asked me that last night and it kind of caught me off guard. I told this person that my hours have been cut at work for the next 4 weeks and my meds have been adjusted and I will see my dr on Oct.7th and we will go from there.

I just tell them it is a chronic condition and leave it at that. It's hard to say if it will get worse or not. Some people get worse as they age, and some stay the same or get a little better, so it is hard to predict. I am somewhat better than I was, but it is because of the right medication combo. Others who have had this a long time, tend to get worse.

It's a crap shoot either way!

    Take care, Sally

    I tell people:

"Unfortunately, fibromyaglia's not fatal. I have to LIVE with it."

It gets people to back off real quick.
