Mine turned out positive. I also had an elevated sed rate (60) but that is always high. My c-reactive protein test was high as well. My liver enzyme tests always show up high....that started happening when I was pregnant 12 years ago. Does anybody know what all this means? My doctor has referred me to a gastroenterologist to check on liver stuff, but he didn't really tell me why. He's the busy type, if you know what I mean.

    Thanks!

You can find a lot if info if you search the web.
However, each person is different. From what
I have read, this test can indicate autoimmune
hepatitis, which I have never heard of. It depends
on more than one blood test to diagnose, from what
I found out in my short search for you.

I was just looking the other week because I have
an anti-straitional antibody test that showed up
positive and no one even told me until I found it myself.
I always thought it was the anti-smooth muscle
test. They are one line apart and I guess I misread it.
Still no answers for me on the anti-striational stuff.
We need better doctors, don't we??
    Good luck,
    Lynn

It appears to be linked to autoimmune disorders, especially autoimmune hepatitis. I hope you have had that worked up because with the elevated liver tests, that sounds concerning. In the past, I have also had elevated liver tests.

I also have positive Anti-ssDNA, and positive chronic/recurrent Epstein Barr (had an acute case of cytomegalovirus a few years ago that took months to recover from).

Please let me know if you have found anything out.
