Today, I need to clean up and pick up house. The daughter's of a close friend, in Atlanta, are in town and want to see me. Set up for early evening. If I am up to it. I hate calling to cancel. They called yesterday to let me know they were in town and are leaving tomorrow. Late notice for me! LOL

I just cannot shake this tiredness and fatigue. I am starting to feel depressed, but think it is mostly due to the fatigue and lack of energy. My hospital fiascso in Feb., must play into this. Any ideas?

How was everyone's elses weekend and what are you planning to try and accomoplish today? I am a slacker compared to the rest! LOL

My saturday was spent with family which worked out pretty good, but Sunday I was in bed all day. Had to miss church, which always starts the week off bad.

I need to try to get everything back in it's place after our water leak and major remodel job from last week.

It was all I could do to work up the beans from the garden this morning and drag myself to the store.

I am gonna have to take a few days to rest. well I hope I can get the energy to rest...Make sense?

    I hope everyone has a stress-free and pain-less week...lacey

Kim: Thanks for not deleting last week's post. I see others here like to catch up on last week's news. I'm sorry you are starting to feel depressed again. It's not surprising with all you've been through. I hope you can get together with your friends. I know what you mean about last-minute plans-it's hard for us to do sometimes.

Lacey: You sound like an old-fashioned girl with all your canning! I live in a small town and have always loved the country. I hate large cities. There have always been a lot of canners in both sides of my family. I remember watching my grandmother and mother can. Even my dad's father canned!

Linda: It has cooled down here in Michigan the past week. It has been so nice to have the windows open again and be able to go outside and not feel so miserable. My husband and I just saw the movie "Ratatouille". It's a cute story about a rat who wants to be a chef.

Nancy: I hope for your sake that your neighbor's construction project will be over soon. Do you have a sound machine that will help block some of the noise when you lay down? It helps me when I take my afternoon nap and the neighbor's dog is barking.

Anne Theresa: I'm glad you got on the list for your wheelchair ramp. Two months is awhile to wait, but at least you're on the list.

I can't believe that in less than a month I will be back to work! Although it will be nice to start getting paychecks again. My husband's work has been really slow so our finances are quite tight at this point. His employer is trying to get more jobs to keep everyone busier, but Michigan's economy is so slow. There is a large job that his boss has bid on, and if he gets it, he said it will keep everyone busy for the rest of the season. So we are praying that this will work out.

Okay, on to the to-do list:

    -dust (done)
    -put away yesterday's dishes (done)
    -repair an earring (done)
-Spanish noodles for dinner (it's a recipe I learned while
in homec class in high school-easy to make and really

I may not be on here the rest of the week. Tomorrow I will spend with my brother. He also has his psychiatrist appt. tomorrow as well. He is still doing well.

Thursday and Friday I have out-of-town doctor appts. One with the FMS doctor and the other with the ear specialist. I still have the feeling of fullness sometimes in the ear I had surgery on in December so he may have to drain it. Doesn't that sound like fun?

If I don't make it back on here, take care everyone and I'll talk to you next week!

Must go get some food. I'm just procrastinating by visiting this board. (-:

Kim...hope your visit is good...You have been very busy, it seems, lately, and possibly your body is wanting a little TLC? Just listen to your body...see what it needs. It seems like so many of our problems are caused by ignoring the body and pushing through anyway...for me, that is a biggie.

Anyway, I must get some food in this house. Just got back from Mt. Shasta where our plans are almost (PRAISE GOD) ready for permits. FINALLY!

Take care, all. Don't try to be Super Woman...take care of yourselves.

    Love you,

Every stick of furniture in my house is in need of some dusting & polish. Feeling overwhelmed with how much there is to do, I've decided to break the job into smaller, more manageable tasks and do a bit each day.

My mission for today, then, is to dust/polish my desk.

My new walker was delivered this morning. It's so nice and sleek, I just love it. I'll be taking it for it's inaugural trip to the mall this evening.

    shower & shampoo
    dust the desk
    general pick up & tidy
    read, rest, nap
trip to the mall, with friend

Today I'll be grocery shopping...big grocery shopping and it's raining outside.

My daughter's coming over so she can see a friend who's back from college on base so I'll drop her off while I'm there...

Linda, no the noise hasn't gotten any better, in fact it's in full boil now since the lady's move in date is getting closer. Uggghhhh!

And now my dear friends a secret....shhhhhh please don't tell anyone, I don't want to jinx it.

My daughter and her fiance are going to get married in the states next week. He has a business trip to Maryland and they've found a nice elopement place in VA to have their very small wedding.

It's a good thing, as it comes before her 21st birthday when she'd lose her ID card so she can stay medicated and insured too as a bonus.

But I'm not telling ANYONE... and I'll deal with the repercussions later. I don't want any more added stress on her. I think doing this quietly is good for them, her especially. This way, they can concentrate on each other and she can just focus on what she needs to do to get ready.

So please help me keep this secret....and thanks for being here so I could share it with someone.

Actually have some energy today! Hooray! Thanks for all of your kind thoughts! My body did need some down time.

I was able to light dust house yesterday. Cooked a ham in the crock pot, so I good take dinner to my aunt today. She had knee surgery.

This morning I made AuGratin potatos, for my aunt and uncle; as well as for our moms and ourselves. Bought, cleaned and cooked 6 ears of corn. Also, had my blood checked for level of coumadin needed for this coming week.

We are supposed to go to the lake and hook up with my daughter and finace, tomorrow for the weekend. I'm going to get some rest this afternoon and evening.

Nancy..Congrats regarding your daughter's marriage (fingers crossed as I type!)! Virginia is so beautiful. Thank heaven she will still have benefits!

    Hugs to all!

That's a wonderful secret, Nancy, thanks for sharing! I wish your daughter and her fiancé a long & happy life together.

Today I tried some recently-purchased Fibromyalgia 024 spray to see if it would help with my neck pain. Has anyone tried this? It's as good as anything else I've tried, but it has a terrible smell and it's very greasy.

I didn't have the foresight to pin my hair up (or back) before I applied the 024 and so now the back of my head/hair is a greasy mess. I think I'll stick to my deep cold or absorbing junior.

My main mission for the day is to clean the washroom (toilet, sink, tub, faucets, floor, counters, window sill, mirror, wastebasket). Then I'll take a shower and double shampoo to get this junk out of my hair.

This evening, if the spirit moves, I'll make some muffins.

    God bless,
    Anne Theresa

Thanks all for the well wishes, I really hope it goes ok...

Took her shopping yesterday, got the jewelry, shoes, after the wedding outfit with shoes and bag, so needless to say, I'm wiped out today.

No nap yesterday due to construction so I'm just going to try to rest today. Hopefully, I'll get a chance to close my eyes for a bit. It's always worse at the end of the week without a chance for a good 2 hour nap....

    Hugs all,

Linda, I had to shake my head at your 024 story, I totally relate. I was terribly overwhelmed by the odor and - had I used more than the little bit I did - I would surely have been near-to faint. Lesson learned, in that regard.

Except for taking a shower/shampoo, I didn't accomplish anything on yesterday's to-do list. These few things I'd like to do today:

    clean washroom
    tidy bedroom
    water houseplants
    make muffins

Dave brought home three DVD rentals for me - all Monty Python, my favourite. So, getting comfy & watching Monty Python, is my Main Mission for today.

    God bless,
    Anne Theresa

I can also relate to the 024 story. It feels good, but I can't take the stench! Sometimes I use it during the day because it makes my husband sick to smell it.

But not often. It just is too potent.

Make a list for Costco tomorrow
    Do some laundry
Do some more organizing of the office.

I feel rotten. My joints hurt, my whole body is hurting. I have no energy, but it hurts to lie in bed.

    What a mess.

Just going to stumble through the day, I guess.

HOpefully, DH and I will be taking a week to rest here soon. Too much traveling, too much stress in our lives right now. I'm sure I'm not the only one in this fix.

Hope you each have a great weekend.

    Take care,

I'm sorry you're not feeling well, Sue.
I hope it eases up for you soon.

My mission for today is to go for a walk.

My weekend goals are to help sweetie with the laundry, clean/organize the inside of the fridge and buy groceries.

I also intend to finish the Monty Python marathon.

    Enjoy the weekend, all.

    God bless,
    Anne Theresa
