I have seen reference on this site about CFS, CFIDS, FM(S), MDS- This has me a little confused. Are they all the same thing, or completely different, or variations of one disease. Can someone try to put it in a nutshell for me, if possible?

CFS is Chronic Fatigue Syndrome; CFIDS is Chronic Fatigue and Immune Dysfunction Syndrome; FMS is Fibromyalgia Syndrome; MDS is Myelodysplastic Syndrome. CFS and CFIDS are basically the same. If you do a search on "Abbreviations" you'll find a long list of many abbreviations used here.
