    Hi All,

I was wondering if any of you had ever heard or taken a drug called Chlorpromazine.

I was givin it for anxiety and was told its not addictive.

I dont take it during the day as it causes drowiness but find i cant sleep at night unless i take it.
I take 100mg of Prothidan which is meant to help me sleep but it wont keep me asleep on its own.

I am concerned what this drug is doing to me and that i take it with prothidan.
Can anyone shread any light on it.

    thank you,

    Shazzy

    Thanks for info.

Yes, i was givin it for panic attacks but cant take it during day as it makes me more fatigued than im already am.

My doctor is keen for me to stop taking it now that i am on prothidan but that only dont keep me asleep.

I take 2 at night at 10mg each so only a low dose.

I mentioned Klonopin in my other post to you. It works for my sleep and for the anxiety. I take very, very small doses (1/4 tablet) under my tongue during the day for sensory overload and it doesn't make me sleepy during the day.

    Love, Mikie

    Hi Mikie,

As i have said before here in the uk they are not keen giving out those sort of drugs. My dr says no, its addictive, i have asked.
