What tests would a Rheumy do?

    Hi all,

I was recently advised by an online MD to see a rheumatologist.

Although I have seen a neurologist and an immunologist and had every test in the book done on me, I was wondering what other tests a rheumatologist might do if all the usual blood tests come back normal.

Can anyone who has been to one tell me what tests they might run?

    Thanks,

    Love Bunchy x

I went to a Rheumy and was told that there are over 100 different types of arthritis and there are only tests for three of them. Lupus, Rheumatoid and I think Osteoperosis, so her job was basically guess work when those three tests came back good. Your GP probably tested them as well as ANA and Sed rate. I hope this helped
