I've been trying something this week. As I live in NJ and we're in a cold spell, my hips to my toes have been much worse than usual (plus I'm still not sleeping well and my wife's grandpap passed on tuesday)... I've been wearing sweat pants under my jeans and thermal socks all the time for the past week until today when I was so tired I forgot. I can feel the difference. Boy do they hurt worse. It seems the warmer I keep my muscle/joints the less they hurt (pretty obvious but thought it was worth mentioning). Pops wake/funeral is friday/saturday so please keep his family in your prayers.
