I read this somewhere and was curious..
cortisol is a hormone which is produced int he adrenal glands and plays a part in just about every process in the human body. Mine is low. It was tested with a 24 hour urine test.
Cortosol stimulation test to make sure you body produces it when needed. Gary was extreemly low and just at readable levels mine was below readable levels and the follow up test showed we did produce when needed. I get steroid shots for spasums and pain and my doc said that having such low levels the shots won't hurt me and I have found they help for a few days by giving a bit of energy. Just another thing we all can have.
