It's the freezer/pantry game. This is almost my entire freezer contents listed minus hubby's booze & my vitamins.

Here are the draw backs to my hubby doing the shopping:

1 Flintson Family size beef rib roast

    1 extra-large roasting chicken

    a Buffalo roast ?

    a bag of peas
1/2 bag of mix frozen vegies

And drum roll please...10 pounds of butter
Wierd pantry items: 4 lbs white navy beans & 4 lbs white rice

What's not in the cupboards-not a single can or piece of FRUIT.
At least he has employment & we have food of some sort.

And he gets so excited when butter is on sale & large cuts of meat. He's the ultimate urban hunter. Ha ha

I have two sides of beef in mine, CC. Just like Lucy.

Never heard of freezing rice or beans. Were they white when
they were put into the freezer?

Do you have Costco where you live? It sells butter for less than
half the supermarket price. Only caveat, one has to buy 5 or 10
    pounds minimum.

I like tuna, Jam, but I don't wanna eat too much. I'm afraid I'll
    turn into a thermometer.

    Bon appetit!

hamburger, london broils, a roast, pork chops, boneless chicken breasts, bbq beef ribs--no sauce--they make wonderful beef soup, 1 large turkey, and a small ham, chicken & rice soup, spaghetti sauce, blueberries, couple cans of frz juice, walnuts, a lasagne, chicken nuggets, burritoes, ice cubes and several ice packs. And I'm sure there are some unknown things in there too. :)

and can't forget about 5 pounds of butter[This Message was Edited on 08/27/2011]
