I've read about "decompression" of the spine or similiar experiences from spinal care institutes or fibro institutes.....wondering has anybody tried this or have comments about it?

My mother in law requested a brochure and wants me to try it??

    Hi Kaymac,

I did try this several years ago with mixed results. Sometimes I could feel a quite a bit better; other times it seemed to aggravate my condition.

I found it couldn't do for me what I really needed, which was a proper alignment of my uppermost cervical vertabra, the atlas. I did some upper cervical chiropractic care with good results, but didn't get excellent results until a did a procedure called Atlas Profilax, sometimes spelled as AtlasPROfilax.

I've posted fairly extensively on my experience, most recently on a thread by Crickett. <a href="http://www.immunesupport.com/chat/forums/message.cfm?id=1300345&B=FM">Click on this Link to go Directly to it</a>. I posted on several other threads, most of which can be accessed by clicking <a href="http://www.immunesupport.com/chat/forums/message.cfm?id=1285080&B=FM#1285080">here</a>.

If you choose to read some of these posts and have any questions, I'd be happy to answer them as best I can.

    Regards, Wayne

I tried it this summer. It was pretty disappointing. I've done really well when the chiropractor pulls gently on my head, and when I make a sling from a towel for traction, but I think this hurt as much as it helped. Does that make sense? Everyone's different, but I was not helped.

    Good luck.
