I have always had really straight hair like all of my family.
I had an operation 10 years ago and got infection.I was bedbound for 2 years and my hair loss was awful!

My hair is now very curly and I dont know why this has happened.Everone thinks I have had it permed!!!

    Anyone else???

Could it be hormone related ?

I've heard of this happening to chemo patients who lost their hair and it grew back different. Maybe something to do with your operation and losing your hair?

After my hair grew back after chemo, it was wavy and really nice! It lasted for about 1 1/2 years now it's back to the old flat, straight stuff! Interesting. DE

My sis had slightly wavy hair until her late 30's or so, when it became definitely curly. My straight-as-a-board hair started developing a bit of a wave in my late 40's - enough so that I actually have a bit of body now!

DH's hair was straight until his ROTC crewcut at age 18. Since then it's been curly.

Sis has no FM or CFS, while I've had CFS & FM since age 19.
