Why isn't a HyperBolic Chamber used for FM treatment?

    Dear All,

I saw a program on the Discovery channel. It was about a man who was attacked by a Bear. The bear severely mauled the mans leg. The rescue Chopper couldn't get to him for hours and Gang Green was setting. The bacteria was spreading under the skin because of the lack of oxygen.

Once the chopper got him to the hospital he was put in a HyperBolic chamber so he could get several times the amount of Oxygen in his body he would normally get. The oxygen ended up killing the gang green and they saved his leg. I think he spend three 9 hour days in the chamber.

I wonder if HyperBolic chamber therapy could help with FM if bacteria (mycoplasma) is a big player in our disease.
