Driving my parents out to the East coast because my Dad can't drive anymore due to mild dementia. I hope all goes well! My dad can be pretty stubborn and can make a trip miserable if he wants to, so I hope he is in a good mood!

My poor mom wants to keep travelling though, and she won't drive long distances, so I offered to drive them. We will be gone 10 days. We are breaking up the driving though, as I can't sit for a long period in the car without breaks.

Take care, everyone and I'll check in when I get back.

I live on the east coast. We have had some chilly nights.

Why not get your Dad a hand held electronic card game or casino game to keep him busy?

    Have a wonderful trip.

Good luck on your trip. I hope your dad behaves himself. A couple of years before my dad passed away, I helped drive him, my mom and my brother, Jim, out to St. Louis, Missouri. Dad was an architect and had always wanted to see the Arch, but he needed help driving due to health problems. My FMS wasn't as bad then (I didn't even know I had it then).

Anyway, I was so glad I did this. I hope your trip goes well.

How kind of you to do this for your parents! Take lots of breaks and be careful. I hope all goes well.
