Read the fantastic article below that will make you smile and warm your heart. It is about a group of women that helpdc each other weed their gardens, and turned out to become friends, more trusting, more open, were there though hospitalization and death and called themselves the Wonder Weeders.

Hey, that is a fantastic article. Wish I were able to get into something like that.

There are two novels I know of that have similar stories. Maeve Binchy wrote "Evening
Class" and Debbie Macomber wrote "A Good Yarn". The good thing about these
authors is, if you like 'em, they wrote a lotta books.

If the Wonder Weeders ever want to change their name, I would suggest
    "The Weed Whackers".

I too would love to get into something like that maybe from my scooter with extended tools if they make them. I just loved the article and the wonderful spirit.

I loved that they set rules for the group like no commenting on each other's gardens (which you know would probably happened and led to fights), and how they developed into such harmony and really helped each other even during the worst times. They tended and grew each other's gardens, but also lovingly tended and grew their friendship.
