Companies are very receptive to how market opinion. I worked in the pharma industry and have a balanced view. I know for a fact that if there is enough negative feedback they will quickly change their ads.

I caved in and watched the commercial after saying I didn't want to see it.

I wish I were an attractive, hair blown out, outfitted in trendy clothes, waiting for robert redford to take me away on an exotic vacation. Does her SSDI payment pay for this?

I would recommend taking a proactive approach to ensure that they change the commercial.

I guess it's like the Viagra ads or even the deodorant ads . . .they want people to imagine they will look and feel like this IF they take the medication, not before

If it was "truth in advertising" as we used to say, no one would even want to look. Personally I haven't had a shower in two days, roots are bad and I sit on one of theose pads with a hole in the middle for my spine. Oh, gotta go, Robert Redford is at the door!

I've never shied from fighting city hall -- just another venue! I'll do this very thing today, if I survive my first PT appointment, that is. The ads I've seen have made me a bit peeved, I have to admit. Thanks, ktn105, for the great insight and notion.

    Peace and Gentle Hugs,
