    Hi All,

We've talked about this before. Many of us have had this illness for decades
and no wife, girlfriend, husband, boyfriend or friend or family has 'caught' cfs from us so the degree of contagiousness must be either small or operating in a way we don't yet understand.

My girlfriend and I talked and she feels safe, but we have made appointments to ask our doctors anyway, and they may not know what to say.

Curious if anyone's trusted doctor had anything to say.

My dr's office just called me back a couple minutes ago. He said it's too new to know for sure, but it's not passed on by touch or anything like that. He basically seemed to think I'd have to be really trying to give it to someone else in order for any small chance of it happening to occur. He didn't think sweat transmition was an issue. If anything, it would be blood, which gets covered with bandages anyway.
