I had used Zoloft for quite some time, and it worked for depression but I needed something more for pain so I was switched to Cymbalta which is supposed to help with pain along with the depression. I have only been on it for a month. We shall see. So far it has had little effect on the pain. Zoloft never really made me feel dopey, but I sure felt the difference in my moods when I stopped taking it. Cymbalta seems to be working well for the depression and my energy level has increased some. I too, have tried most all of the available anti-depressants at one time or another, and have had to switch due to ineffectiveness or bad side effects. I am hoping this one gives me some relief.
