You are a very ______ for ______and the various ______that you ______over the ________.

1 is Rudolph. I once played Rudolph (well half of Rudolph). And was Santa Clause twice;
half a century apart.

2 Bob and Something and Ted and Alice.

3 Wuthering Heights. I looked up wuthering. It means really windy and comes from Old Norse.

4a Ma and Pat Kettle. Marjorie Main and Percy Kilbride. They made about a dozen movies
together. I always found them poignant rather than humorous. In 1975 a bridge playing
friend took me his neighbor's house. The fellow there had some white roses in a silver ribbon
on his coffee table. He had been to Marjorie's funeral that afternoon. She was 85.

___________ Here I Come

with the program.

dmcduck, If we get too technical on here we won't have a game! lol

Also, it helps to number them so we don't get too mixed up. We can be a bit disorganized at times. :) GB

Oops, I'm always proof-reading a dozen times and editing and correcting, but missed that one. Thanks for letting me know, Dmcduck. I'm OCD about spelling, like it's a happy hobby of mine, hahaha. I love being corrected on language matters. I corrected it above.

I know a lot of words from reading a lot, but don't necessarily know how they're pronounced. I say some doozies sometimes, haha. Hub and son correct my pronunciation at times, and I appreciate it. YouTube has the pronunciation of a word to listen to. Some dictionary sites have the audio of a word, too. I goofed around one night listening to words, and was surprised how off I am on some.

I enjoy reading your posts on The Porch.

California, Here I Come. The Riccardos and the Mertzes sing it when they leave New
York in the new car.

I think GB got the others in the Duckie's post correctomundo.

GB, You got the ones I posted, 18 - 21 right. The Littlest Outlaw is a Disney film from
the 50's. I don't know if there is a Littlest Mermaid. Might be a sequel.

She Taught Me to Yodel can be heard on Youtube. One gal sings He Taught Me To Yodel.

Patti, I do lots of proofreading too. Almost always miss something though.

Duckie, nice to see you here. We have been playing silly games for a long time.
When I was in college we often played Charades and Password. Of course we didn't
call it Password, but it was the same game sans money. Entertainment that didn't
cost money.

Rock, Actually it's the Little Mermaid. I read it wrong. lol
I didn't get your #21 either. Or is south right?

We could also include sayings and commercials/ads too. Gives us more to play with.

I have to proofread about 5 times, at least. My mind is so foggy today. Must be Post Thanksgiving Syndrome. No cure for that either. lol GB

I was actually going for Basin Street Blues, but wondered if anyone would come up with Canal Street Blues. The rest were all correctly guessed by someone.

Yes, it was "The Little Mermaid" - and I should know. My DD watched it about a thousand times when she was little, despite the fact that it scared the pants off her.

p.s. hope y'all knew I was just havin' some fun over the grammer. Heaven knows I ain't perfekt.

Duckie, Have you read through some of our past games? If you find one that you'd like to play, you can repost it and we'll play again. If you have any ideas
for new games feel free to start a new thread. We've been doing this for almost 4 years and are running low on ideas. I am, anyway. lol GB
