Spring, Thinking of you as I am following the health reports on Thich Nhat Hanh at Plum Village.

At one lovely, loving, international site, gratefulness.org, there have been 17,935,985 candles lit for him. With many loving messages written on the candles for him. When I first went there, I thought it so strange to light a virtual candle, but as another dear monk, David Steindl-Rast says, "Why can't virtual space be sacred space?" And I have indeed found that it is a very sacred space.

Brother Thay is deeply and greatly loved around the world! As I go to my favorite spiritual sites online, I see so many people watching lovingly over him, sending out news of his health, gathering prayer, and sharing the requests that Plum Village has sent out to keep Brother Thay in prayerful energy.

I remember your saying that you had a favorite book of his writings on your bedside table, and that encouraged me to search out knowing him more deeply.

Blessings to you, dear friend!
Love, Judy

Judy - I have been thinking of you off and on as well
as keeping you in my prayers. How are you doing
these days?

I wish Brother Thay would not have had to go through this
illness but doubtless there is a reason. I pray too for him to
come out of it and be with us all for a longer time.

He is one of the few lights of this world which help dispel
a lot of the darkness...with his peace and serenity.

I must remember to light a lamp for him when i go
to the monastery.

Thank you for posting, it was a comfort to see your

Please give your wonderful husband my regards

God Bless
